Founded by celebrated expert in the industry Derek Lyons & son Jared, together they aim to create stunning fixtures styled & finished to suit Australian residential spaces. Based in Sydney, Magins Design places huge value on Australian craftsmanship, ensuring all designing & manufacturing processes are completed locally.

How can I purchase your lights?

We have a set list of stockists who sell our products. You can find their details on our stockists page here. Alternatively if you are an Interior Designer, Architect, Builder or involved in any other type of trade you can register here for a trade membership.

Where can I see your lights?

We display our lights in our studio based in crows nest. You can find those details here. We may not have the particular fitting your looking for in our studio at all times so it's best to contact us and find out before arriving.

The Difference between Magins Lighting & Magins Design?

Magins Lighting is an online/retail store established by the founders of Magins Design almost 25 years ago. Magins Lighting sells a range of light fixtures sourced from multiple top quality Australian, European & American brands in the industry direct to retail consumers and residential customers.

Magins Design, Designs its own range of fittings manufactured in Australia. We sell purely to wholesale/trade customers & distributors however if you are a general consumer you can purchase our fittings through Magins Lighting.

Can you customize fittings?
