Kitchen Lighting needs to be versatile  and layered to cater to the many activities that take place in the kitchen.

We recommend a combination of down lights for shadow free task lighting above food preparation areas and a dimmer switch for pendants to create a softer more ambient mood.

A lot of homes opt for a lighting feature piece spanning the length of a long island bench which in our opinion looks spectacular. However spacing and measurements can prove tricky when planning for this beautiful option.

Some general rules for this style is that the fitting must always be smaller in width and length than the island bench its hanging above. Ideally for the kitchen to look in proportion the fitting should be around 3/4 of the island benches length, centered leaving a small area of space either side of the single, duo or trio of fittings.

Perfect for Kitchen Island Bench Lighting and exclusive to Magins the Gloucester 3 Arm Pendant brings a touch of the Hamptons to this Timeless Kitchen.
